Next Up: Major World Title Match Planned For WWE Clash At The Castle

They have a plan for that. We are on the way to the next major WWE international event with Clash At The Castle next month. This will be the second event in the show’s history and we are going to be seeing WWE trying to top what they did before. As tends to be the case, this will involve a variety of title matches and now we might know one of the biggest on the show.

Earlier this week on Monday Night Raw, Drew McIntyre and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest teased a future match between the two of them. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the match is expected to take place in Glasgow, Scotland on June 15. McIntyre is currently out of action with a fractured elbow but he is expected to be cleared to return to the ring for the show.

This should be big. Check out the setup and the two on their own:

Opinion: This should be as much of a layup as possible and it seems that we are going to be seeing a major showdown in front of McIntyre’s home country. Hopefully the match goes well, as WWE has the chance to give McIntyre one of the biggest moments of his career. It’s hard to imagine that McIntyre won’t be ready for the show if he has any say in it, as this could be quite the moment.
