Abdelaziz Barrada died of a heart attack this Thursday at the age of 35. Trained at Paris Saint-Germain without ever having played a single meeting with the first team, the former Moroccan attacking midfielder (28 caps) was known to Ligue 1 followers, notably for his time at Olympique de Marseille between 2014 and 2016. The two clubs, which will face each other this Sunday at the Orange Vélodrome, paid tribute to his memory on social networks last night.

According to The Teama tribute will be paid before the Classic kicks off. In addition to OM and PSG, several players or former footballers reacted to the death of Barrada, such as Achraf Hakimi, Amine Harit and Medhi Benatia.
