It sounds like the hottest free-agent tag team in professional wrestling, the Motor City Machine Guns, are WWE-bound.
Back in April, it was reported by Bodyslam.net that Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley were finalizing a deal to join All Elite Wrestling. But it appears things have changed.
In this morning’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reports that Sabin and Shelley are expected to sign with WWE.
Meltzer goes on to state that Sabin and Shelley have been in talks with both WWE and AEW with the intention of signing with whichever company gave them the better offer. As things stand right now, that appears to be WWE. Both Sabin and Shelley have remained quiet about where they are heading next since departing TNA Wrestling earlier this year.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information on the free agent status of the Motor City Machine Guns as it becomes available.
