Salman Khan gets emotional remembering late actor Satish Kaushik at Patna Shuklla screening, says, “Humare toh bade hi close the voh”

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan attended the screening of his brother Arbaaz Khan’s production venture, Patna Shuklla. The series stars Raveena Tandon, Anushka Kaushik, and Satish Kaushik, among others in pivotal roles. At the film’s premiere on Thursday, Salman Khan interacted with media and got emotional as he remembered Satish Kaushik.

When Salman arrived at the premiere, he was asked about Satish’s presence in the film. He said, “Humare toh bade hi close the voh. Aur sabse amazing cheez yeh hai ki unhone apni har… jo jo project pe voh kaam kar rahe the, voh sab unhone khatam kar diye. Every project of his… Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan mein bhi the voh (We were very close. The best thing was that he finished every project of his. He was there in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan also),” he said.

For those unversed, Satish Kaushik passed away on 9th March 2023 in Delhi following a heart attack. He was 66. The actor-filmmaker is survived by his wife, Shashi Kaushik, and daughter, Vanshika.

Salman’s upcoming movies

On the work front, the actor recently delivered 2023’s one of the highest-grossing movies with Tiger 3. Apart from this, he also confirmed The Bull with Karan Johar. The actor will also be seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ki Shaadi and YRF’s Tiger vs Pathaan. The actor recently confirmed reunion with Sajid Nadiadwala for an Eid 2025 release. Ghajini fame A.R. Murugadoss will direct the yet-untitled film.
