Shotzi is on the mend.

The WWE Superstar shared that she’s currently in Mexico and recently had a stem cell procedure to treat a back injury that has been plaguing her for more than two years.

Shotzi is currently out with a knee injury, but she says the “silver lining” of being sidelined is that she finally had time to get healthy.

“In Mexico to finally get the stem cells I have been wanting since I hurt my back 2 and 1/2 years ago! Realizing that my knee injury is giving me the opportunity to finally heal my back has been a huge silver lining,” Shotzi wrote on Instagram. “Thank you @rejuvstem Thank you Universe. I am forever grateful. Here is to wrestling pain free when I come back! But first coconuts and cenotes! #rejuvstemcell #stemcelltherapy #cancunhealth #regenerativemedicine”

Shotzi last competed in WWE on the February 20, 2024 episode of NXT (taped February 13). There, she lost a NXT Women’s Championship match via referee’s decision to Lyra Valkyria.

Shotzi later confirmed she tore her ACL during the match. She initially estimated that she would be sidelined for nine months, which would potentially see her return in December 2024.
