The Undertaker says Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes would be a good heel.
Speaking on his Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker and co-host Matthew Lyda discussed Cody Rhodes’ title win and the road forward. Lyda noted that the crowd was going to turn on Cody eventually, and “The Phenom agreed, saying that it was “inevitable.”
Lyda then stated that Cody Rhodes was not an underdog anymore, so a heel turn was the only place to go. The WWE Hall of Famer stated that he could see Rhodes as a heel. He noted that he had a “heel vibe” and the qualities to match.
“You see the heel turn? I could see that. I don’t know that he would switch as champion, I don’t know, I don’t know what the approach would be there. But I think he would be a good heel. He’s got heel qualities. He gives me a heel vibe. I could see him very easily being smug and better-than-thou [laughs]. No, don’t get carried away, that’s all I work. But I could see it, I feel in the character.”
The Undertaker also agreed that Cody Rhodes could potentially turn by insulting his late father, Dusty Rhodes.
