Sammy Guevara was reportedly knocked out during a match while taping for Ring of Honor ahead of the October 2 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Per Mike Johnso of PWInsider, the incident occurred while Guevara was competing in a match against Serpentico. According to those in attendance, Serpentico jumped off the top rope and Guevara went to catch him, but the spot was mistimed. Guevara landed underneath Serpentico, and he got knocked out.

The match was stopped immediately, with Serpentico being ruled the winner. AEW medical staff then attended to Guevara. No further updates have been made as of now.

A separate incident, according to fans in attendance, also occurred in which Lady Frost’s unnamed opponent was injured. According to Clark, Frost’s opponent was placed on a backboard on their way out of the arena, in what “appeared to be a pretty serious injury.”
