Rasmus Hojlund is back on the scoresheet for Manchester United with a goal that you’d hope would seal all three points against Newcastle United.
The forward dropped to the bench this evening in place of Bruno Fernandes in a false-nine role, with Erik ten Hag keen to manage Hojlund’s minutes and his fitness levels.
He found the back of the net just 107 seconds after his introduction, receiving the ball from his skipper and brushing off two Magpies before dispatching a powerful strike that Martin Dubravka was able to get a glove to, yet couldn’t stop.

It’s a ninth Premier League goal of the term for Hojlund and one that will hopefully boost his confidence ahead of the FA Cup final.
