WCW Legends Spotted Backstage at AEW Collision Tapings in Georgia

AEW is set to make a return to the Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia for an eventful night featuring a Ring of Honor taping and a Collision taping scheduled to air this Saturday. Reports from PW Insider suggest that there are notable guests making appearances backstage.

Former WCW luminaries Ray “Glacier” Lloyd and Ernest “The Cat” Miller, both significant figures in WCW during the 1990s, are reported to be visiting backstage. Additionally, an update on QT Marshall reveals his return to AEW in his previous backstage role. Marshall was spotted at both last night’s AEW Dynamite taping and this past Sunday’s Revolution pay-per-view event.

Regarding Collision, a lineup of matches is set to be taped for tonight’s event, slated to air on March 9, 2024:

Bryan Danielson will take on Shane Taylor in what promises to be an intense showdown. A highly anticipated match will see Chris Jericho facing off against the debuting CMLL star Titan. Fans can anticipate the debut of “The New Elite,” a moment sure to captivate audiences. Mistico will go head-to-head against Angelico in a clash of high-flying athleticism. Mariah May is set to collide with Trish Adora in what is expected to be a hard-hitting encounter. The evening will culminate in an Atlanta Street Fight featuring Mark Briscoe, Jay Lethal, and Jeff Jarrett taking on the formidable House of Black.

With an exciting lineup of matches and notable backstage appearances, AEW’s return to the Gas South Arena promises an electrifying evening of professional wrestling action.
