WRESTLING RUMORS: Major WrestleMania Rematch Expected Soon

That would be big. WrestleMania has long since been the biggest wrestling event of the year, with tens of thousands of fans packing stadiums to make the show as big as possible. Appearing on the show can be one of the most important moments of any wrestler’s career and the matches that take place there can be huge. We might be seeing another one of them take place.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Foreign Exchange: Baron Corbin May Have Found A New Wrestling Home

The first night of last year’s WrestleMania 40 opened with Becky Lynch unsuccessfully challenging Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s Title. According to Ibou of WrestlePurists by way of Cagesideseats.com, a rematch between the two is expected “very soon”, though there is no specific date given. Lynch has been away from WWE since June when her contract expired, though there has been speculation that she will be returning soon.

This could be huge. Check out the two in action:

Opinion: This is something that makes sense, as the match is one of biggest that is still available for the women’s division. There are only so may women who can give a reasonable challenge to Ripley and Lynch is near the top of that list. Hopefully Lynch is back in WWE sooner rather than later, as she is quite the addition to anything the company has to offer.
