Credit to WWESounds better. Theme music is one of the most important parts of any wrestler’s presentation. The right song helps set the mood for a wrestler and can set them apart in a rather positive way. At the same time, there are some songs which just do not connect as well and a change might be needed. That is what WWE seems to think is the case again and a change may be coming.

According to PW Nexus by way of Cagesideseats.com, there are “rumblings” that WWE will not renew its deal with Def Rebel, who produces many of the company’s theme songs. The company is expected to begin using more mainstream artists to produce their music. There is no word on when the current deal expires or who might be taking Def Rebel’s place as the song producers.
WWE has made some changes before. Check out some of them over the years:
Opinion: This is the kind of change that can be a huge shift for a promotion, as theme music really is that big of a deal. The current WWE music, while good, is not the most original stuff and very little of it stands out. Maybe changing things up a bit can help, if nothing else for the sake of having someone fresh coming in. There have been some great ones over the years and this might be the solution WWE needs.
